My Mission
Journalism is one of the most sought-after forms of media that many people turn to today. The fact that people bestow their trust–oftentimes hesitantly–in journalism makes it that much more important for journalists to be timely and accurate. In my opinion, I have made my name by living up to this expectation. However, that is not to say there is no need or room for improvement.
My particular area of interest is sports and multimedia journalism. While fans of today are continuously evolving and the events that occur in sports are ever-changing, journalists must maintain a superior reputation to stay ahead of the game. With that in mind, by enhancing the material and adding another perspective, I will not only be able to appeal to the various readers, but also touch each fan individually.
As the Vice President of Communications it is my mission to serve as a liaison between the team, the media, and the community as a whole. It is also my duty to make sure that the team is not only covered in a fair and true light, but that the information that is given is accurate and held to the standard of the organization. I know and recognize that I am still a work in progress but this is my mission.
